M6 lorry crash closes motorway causing gridlock and traffic chaos
A lorry crash on the M6 North between J6 Erdington and J7 Great Barr has closed the motorway.
Live cameras show deserted M6 after lorry smash
There are serious delays on the M6 between Spaghetti Junction and Junction 7 for Walsall after a lorry collided with a flatbed truck and crashed through the central reservation.
These live traffic cameras show a deserted M6. All lanes were closed in both directions shortly after 10:40am.
The central reservation has been badly damaged and the motorway could be closed until 5pm tonight.
Diversions are in place and motorists are being advised to follow the diversions.
It's causing also chaos on routes around the busiest stretch of motorway in the Midlands.
