Football fans travelling to Villa Park to watch Aston Villa take on Manchester United are being warned of severe delays.
It is after a lorry crash has closed part of the M6.
It is closed in both directions between Junction 7 and Junction 6 near Great Barr after a lorry and a pick-up truck collided.
Specialised equipment has been sent to the scene to rescue the drivers.
