Britain's first ever Pot Noodle vending machine unveiled in Nottingham

A Nottingham street is the home of the UK's first ever Pot Noodle vending machine.

Punters in need of a late night snack can choose from spicy curry, beef, tomato or chicken and mushroom.

The vending machine recently appeared on Mansfield Road and is scheduled to be up and running from next week.

The machine, which will be operating 24-hours-a-day, is expected to be a hit with students.

This is probably the best news I've heard all year.

It is always a pain trying to order what kebab you want when you barely make sense after a heavy night.

So to have something this easy and for it to be Pot Noodle too, it's just incredible.

I imagine the queues for this will be bigger than the ones to get into some of the clubs.

Pot Noodles were launched back 1977 with the original idea of a cup of flavoured noodles coming from Japan.
