A 13-year-old boy will be sentenced today after being found guilty of murdering a woman by stamping so hard on her face during a robbery that she died from a bleed on the brain.
The child, who cannot be named for legal reasons, attacked 47-year-old Glynis Bensley from Smethwick in September when she was on her way home from the Seven Stars pub.
20-year-old Zoheb Majid will also be sentenced after being found guilty of robbery and manslaughter.
A jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court heard how they had planned to carry out a robbery via text messages a fortnight before the murder.
