A 13 year old boy has been sentenced to 12 years for the murder and robbery of 47 year-old Smethwick woman Glynis Bensley.

Petri Kurti was convicted of killing Ms Bensley last month.

20 year-old Zoheb Majid was also jailed for 10 years for her manslaughter and robbery.

The pair were both attending a sentencing hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

She suffered a bleed on the brain after her head was stamped on in a brutal attack following a robbery last September as she made her way home from a local pub.
