Actress Angelina Jolie has paid tribute to the work of Derby film star Jack O'Connell.
She was speaking on stage at The Palladium in California ahead of presenting him with the 'New Hollywood Award.'
Jolie is the director of his upcoming film 'Unbroken'.
"It is hard to find a young man today with more fight and more fire than Jack O'Connell", she said.
"As a director, to have Jack in front of your lens is a gift.
"He draws you in, he makes every moment honest. In his work he gives all that he has."
