Mother: Stephen 'would have loved' Pride of Britain

The mother of Stephen Sutton said he 'would have loved it' at last night's Pride of Britain awards ceremony in London.

Jane Sutton, who collected a posthumous Pride of Britain award with other family members on his behalf, said: "He would have been laughing knowing that I was up there on the stage because he knew how much I didn't like the limelight."

The 19 year-old, from Burntwood in Staffordshire, raised more than £5 million for the Teenage Cancer Trust before he died of bowel cancer in May.
