Staffordshire-based firm Phones4U has gone into administration.
Council support for Phones4U workers as firm goes under
Staffordshire County council has promised to provide support for Phones4U workers after the company went into administration earlier this week.
It comes as the number of people claiming job seeker's allowance in the county fell to its lowest level for seven years.
Council leaders say they want to work with local businesses to help them grow.
