Pride of Britain: The story of Karl Hinett

All this week we're bringing you the stories of our ITV Pride of Britain fundraiser nominees. People from our region who tirelessly raise money for charities that are close to their hearts.

Tonight we hear from Karl Hinett from Dudley. He was a 19-year-old soldier serving in Iraq, when the tank he was in was petrol bombed. He was flown to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where the skill and dedication of the staff saved his life. He's now run a marathon every week for the past 2 years all over the world, to raise money for them. Jane Hesketh reports.
