Plane in emergency alert from East Midlands Airport
A Boeing 737 plane headed from East Midlands Airport to Heraklion has now landed safely in Manchester after declaring an emergency shortly after take-off.
Latest flight path shows Jet2 plane circling again
The latest flight path as posted on Twitter by Air Live Net shows the Jet2 Plane which took off from East Midlands Airport headed for Heraklion in Crete is circling again.
Reports suggest the aircraft could be burning off fuel before the Boeing 737 attempts to land.
