Plane in emergency alert from East Midlands Airport
A Boeing 737 plane headed from East Midlands Airport to Heraklion has now landed safely in Manchester after declaring an emergency shortly after take-off.
Jet2 confirms troubled flight headed to Manchester
Airline Jet2 has confirmed the flight which took off from East Midlands Airport headed for Heraklion in Crete has diverted to Manchester, where passengers can disembark and board another plane on to Crete.
