Speaking at the grand opening of Burton-on-Trent's refurbished Victorian Market Hall, the leader of East Staffordshire Borough Council said it was an important moment for the town.
Councillor Julian Mott hopes the £1.5 million revamp will draw more market traders into Burton, after the building has been empty for 18 months during the work.
