West Brom unveil Alan Irvine as new head coach
West Brom have announced former Preston and Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine as their new head coach on a 12-month rolling contract.
Irvine 'understands' he may not have been fans' number one choice
Alan Irvine says he hopes with his and the fans passion West Bromwich Albion can get success.
He was speaking to the media at his first press conference since being appointed as head coach at the Hawthorns at the weekend.
Irvine also said he 'understands' he may not have been the number one choice by the fans.
He takes over from Pepe Mel.
