A man who died after a car hit a tree in Leicester has been named as Jonilal Manjhu. It happened on Welford Road near its junction with Knighton Lane East in the early hours of Sunday morning. Another man is in a serious condition.

The collision happened at just before 3am this morning on Welford Road near its junction with Knighton Lane East.
Police say a silver Ford Focus, which had two men inside, left the road and hit a tree.
One man aged 39 has died, the other aged 33 has been taken to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham where his condition is described as 'serious'.
Officers are keen to talk to anyone who saw a Black BMW one series car in the area at the time of the crash.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the collision.
