Telford named in Top 10 of happiest towns in Britain
Telford has been named as one of the top ten happiest places to live in the UK.
Council 'not surprised' that Telford is 10th happiest place to live
The leader of Telford and Wrekin Council has said he is not surprised that the town was voted the 10th happiest place to live in the UK.
The survey by property website Rightmove asked people how content they are with their home and community.
Kuldip Sahota, Leader of Telford and Wrekin Council, said:
"I am not the least bit surprised by this survey as I happen to think Telford is a fantastic place to live. It is a vibrant, modern town with plenty of history and a perfect mix of industry and green space."
