Judicial review into man's death outside nightclub

A judicial review is taking place today into the death of a man from Birmingham who died outside a nightclub in Manchester, in 2009. Julian Webster died after being restrained in a neck hold for more than eight minutes.

Webster's mother 'cannot put feelings into words' after judicial review ruling

Julian Webster's mother says she cannot put into words her feelings, after judges ruled that the CPS must review its decision not to prosecute anyone over her son's death in 2009, when he was restrained by doormen outside a bar in Manchester.

Sonia Webster has been fighting that decision and held her head in her hands when she heard the ruling in court.
