Roger Helmer MEP to fight the Newark by-election

Roger Helmer, the Ukip MEP for the East Midlands, is to fight the parlimentary by-election in Newark next month.

The announcement comes after Ukip leader Nigel Farage decided not to fight the by-election in Newark.
