Stephen Sutton appears at world record breaking event

A terminally ill teenager from Burntwood in Staffordshire who has raised more than £3 million for the Teenage Cancer Trust has appeared at a world record breaking event held at his old school.

Stephen Sutton has incurable bowel cancer and was only released from hospital on Friday.

His friends organised the event to break the world record for the most number of people making a heart shaped gesture with their hands - and to help him tick off another item from his bucket list in the process.

They hope the attempt will also help him to raise more money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
