Neil Warnock has ruled himself out of becoming Nottingham Forest's new manager, despite being hotly tipped to take the role after Billy Davies was sacked yesterday.
There were reports the former Leeds United boss had met with Forest's chairman and owner Fawaz Al Hasawi, after the club's 5-0 defeat against arch rivals Derby County on Saturday.
But, it seems a move to the City Ground for Warnock is off the cards. In an interview with The Independent, he said:
"I did not feel the conditions of the job were right for me to manage. I wish them well for the rest of the season."
Al Hasawi has revealed that academy manager Gary Brazil will take charge of first-team affairs until a permanent appointment is made, starting with tonight's home game against Charlton.
