Nottingham is gearing up to celebrate its 15th St Patrick's Day Parade with around 500 people and 31 groups taking part.
The parade will leave from the Forest Recreation Ground at midday, heading to Nottingham's Market Square.

St Patrick's Day celebrations were also held yesterday in Birmingham.
Birmingham's annual festival had the theme of Irish myths and legends. The parade was led by Olliphoist, an Irish dragon who fled the country in fear after St Patrick had banished all the snakes.
