500 tonnes of debris being removed from the river in Worcester

Around 500 tonnes of debris is currently being removed from the River Severn in Worcester.

The Environment Agency have said that by completing the work, they hope to be able to fully open the Worcester Bridge in time for rush hour tomorrow.

The work will be continuing until 2am.

Currently, only one lane is open in each direction on the bridge.
