An historic Victorian tourist attraction in Nottinghamshire has been given a prestigious engineering award.
Nottingham pumping station awarded for its originality
The originality of the Papplewick Pumping Station in Nottinghamshire is one of the main reasons it was given the Engineering Heritage Award.
John Wood, the Chair of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Heritage Awards Committee, told ITV News Central he liked how well decorated the building is, dating back to Victorian times.
