The family of a two-year-old boy in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant is holding an event in Birmingham to encourage members of the Asian community to become donors.

Hundreds of people have signed up to the Anthony Dolan bone marrow register after an urgent appeal from the family of a two-year-old boy in need of a transplant.
A total of 343 people who attended an awareness event yesterday pledged to become a donor after hearing their story.
