Thousands flock to first day of Motorhome Show

Thousands of people descended on Birmingham's NEC today as this year's Motorhome & Caravan Show was officially opened by TV presenter Melanie Sykes.

The six-day show will feature a variety of motorhomes, static caravans, camper vans and residential homes, and is the UK's biggest caravanning event.

The exhibition centre will showcase models fresh off the production line and visitors can see prices ranging from £6,000 up to as much as £300,000. TV chef Ed Baines is also attending the event and cooking live.
