A new poll by ComRes has revealed the Birmingham accent is considered to be one of the most unintelligent in the UK.

The Birmingham accent is considered to be one of the most unintelligent, a ComRes poll found, with both the joint fewest people saying they find it intelligent and nearly 33% saying they find it unintelligent.
62% of people believe Received Pronunciation (the Queen's English) sounds intelligent, far ahead of the second placed Edinburgh accent, which two in five (38%) find intelligent.
