Copycat clowns have damaged the reputation of genuine working clowns, it has been claimed, following a series of reports of 'scary' jesters in places including Northampton and Derbyshire.

It's become a social media sensation with over 32,000 people 'liking' the clown's Facebook page and people taking to Twitter to comment on the sightings.
