Leicester woman Sam Bailey, 35, has stormed through the first stage of the audition process, wowing judges with her version of Beyonce's Listen. Judge Nicole Scherzinger told her: "That's exactly how that song is supposed to be sung".

In the opening show of the season, the 35-year-old mother-of-two wowed judges and got four yeses, going through to the second round of auditions which will see performers sing to an audience of 4,000 people.
