An inquest has been opened into the death of a father and daughter who died after their light aircraft crashed into a field in Leicestershire.
Leicestershire Police were called to a field near Wymeswold on August 21.
The inquest heard that David Newton, and his daughter Rebecca, both from Nottinghamshire, were formally identified by their dental records.
The inquests were adjourned until post-mortem examinations and an investigation by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch are complete.
