Channel victim's donations rise

The amount of money donated to a charity supported by swimmer Susan Taylor has reached nearly £80,000. She died trying to cross the English Channel in July. On Thursday 1st August hundreds attended her funeral in Leicestershire.

The amount of money donated to a charity supported by swimmer Susan Taylor has reached nearly £80,000.

Susan from Barwell in Leicestershire was swimming across the English Channel to raise money for the Rainbows Children's Hospice in Loughborough when she collapsed and died.

Yesterday, hundreds attended her funeral.
