Channel victim's donations rise

The amount of money donated to a charity supported by swimmer Susan Taylor has reached nearly £80,000. She died trying to cross the English Channel in July. On Thursday 1st August hundreds attended her funeral in Leicestershire.

Channel swimmer's funeral to be held today

The funeral of a woman from Leicestershire, who died while attempting to swim across the English Channel, is being held today.

Susan Taylor collapsed as she approached the French coast.

The swimmer, from Barwell, was raising money for charity. Her online donation page has raised over £65,000.
