Police have confirmed that the two people who died after a light aircraft crashed in Leicestershire yesterday evening were an elderly man and woman.
They have yet to be formally identified, as officers continue to investigate the crash, along with the Air Accident Investigations Branch.
Emergency services attended the scene off Fenn Lane in Fenny Drayton following the crash at 6.45pm.
