PM welcomes Madeleine leads

A Scotland Yard detective has revealed that they are investigating 38 people in connection with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Madeleine, from Rothley in Leicestershire, disappeared while on holiday in Portugal in May 2007.

David Cameron: 'If an answer to find Madeleine can be found, we need to find it'

The Prime Minister today welcomed the news that the Metropolitan Police is to investigate Madeleine McCann's disappearance.

He was criticised by opposition MPs two years ago when, after receiving a letter from Madeleine's parents, he asked the Met to review the evidence in the case.
