Mid Staffs referred to CPS
Former bosses at Mid Staffordshire hospital have been referred to the Crown Prosecution Service by Stafford Borough Council.
Protesters say 'Stafford Hospital saved my life'
Some of the protesters taking part in the march in Stafford today have said that staff at Stafford Hospital saved their lives.
Thousands took to the streets today in protest at the threatened cutbacks to acute services.
Protesters say they fear the cuts will lead to losses of life and will put other local hospitals under strain.
