Crown Prosecution Service finance manager – Lisa Burrow, and former taxi driver – Tahir Mahmood, are to be charged with conspiracy to commit fraud over false taxi claims totalling at least £1million.
41-year-old Lisa Burrows from Oldbury spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address. Burrows and Mahmood, 50, were not required to enter a plea. They'll next appear at Birmingham Crown Court for a bail hearing tomorrow morning.
