Three of the Midlands' most successful sporting elites will today be appointed as ambassadors for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Olympic and Paralympic equestrian champions Lee Pearson CBE from Stoke-on-Trent, and Carl Hester MBE, will today visit the Operational Headquarters at Strensham where they'll be officially appointed ambassadors.
Although unable to attend, Nick Skelton OBE has also been commissioned.
All three Team GB equestrian stars won gold medals in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Lee Pearson OBE, Ten time gold medal dressage rider and Honorary Doctorate at Staffordshire University, currently lives in Cheddleton, Staffordshire.
