Big freeze hits the Midlands, full report

There is a warning that severe wintry weather could be on the way. Much of the Midlands has already had snow and more is likely to fall, along with blizzards.

As temperatures fall below freezing, people are being urged to keep an eye on elderly neighbours who could be at risk. Here is our correspondent Keith Wilkinson.
