Two women injured in a car crash which killed one woman and two children on the M6 on Christmas Day are to be discharged from hospital today.
Police confirmed last night that the three people killed in the accident were two young brothers aged four and 10 and a 32-year-old woman.
The driver of the car, believed to be the boy's mother, and another female passenger, were taken to University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
The crash happened at 11.30am between junction 14 and 15 near Stoke-on-Trent. Both carriages were closed for several hours after the car overturned.
