Roman Settlement Discovered
2000 year old human remains have been found in Nottingham, where the Highways Agency is widening the A453. Archeologists say pottery and jewellery have also been found at the early Roman settlement.

Archaeologists are at the site where two thousand year old human remains were found in Clifton in Nottinghamshire.
The bones, which are thought to date back to the 1st century, were uncovered during improvement works at the A453.
