The London 2012 Olympics runs from 27th July to 12th August. Athletes from 205 different countries are expected to compete in 26 Olympic sports at the 2012 games.
Postbox goes gold for Nick Skelton
A postbox in Alcester in Warwickshire has been painted gold in honour of the show jumper Nick Skelton who won gold in the team event on Monday. Nick was born in Stratford-upon-Avon but now lives in Alcester. He goes for his second gold today in the individual event.
