The terrifying flood water that killed Mike Ellis

This is the terrifying flood water that killed retired maths teacher Mike Ellis near his home in Bitterley, Shropshire.

It was filmed by a local resident at around the time Mr Ellis was swept away.

Mr Ellis had abandoned his car in the road and was walking across nearby fields when he was knocked off his feet by a brook which had burst its banks.
