The police watchdog have began gathering evidence about what happened after a woman died whilst she was detained in a Nottingham custody suite.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) say they found no evidence that officers "caused or contributed" to Chad Allford's death.

The IOPC’s investigation follows a voluntary referral by the force of complaints they have received from the victims’ families.
