A school in Wednesfield which was severely damaged in an arson attack will not be open on Monday. Pupils at St. Alban's will be taught by the school's staff at three different locations.

Nursery - 'The Hub', Griffiths Drive, from 9:00am to 12:00pm

Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, and Year 4 - Berrybrook Primary School - The coach leaves at 9:00am and will return to St Alban's for 3:00pm

Year 5 and Year 6 - Coppice Performing Arts School - Lessons will start at 9:00am and children can be collected at 3:20pm

A severe fire which forced a primary school in Wednesfield to close today is being treated as arson.

Fire crews were called to St Alban's at 8.15pm last night.

At its height 40 firefighters tackled the blaze.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is now under way.

Firefighters are currently tackling a 'severe fire' at a school in Wednesfield, near Wolverhampton.

Eight pumps are attending the fire reported to be at St Albans Primary School on St Albans Close.
