Sophie Turner announced as patron of Playbox Theatre

It has been announced that Sophie Turner, the Game of Thrones star who was born in Northampton, is to become a patron of Playbox Theatre in Warwick.

Sophie grew up in Warwick where she attended the local theatre group from the age of three.

The 18-year-old plays Sansa Stark in the blockbusting TV series.

Sophie only left Playbox when her filming commitments became more and more demanding.
