The World's Most Expensive Book

It's been kept under lock and key for years but now the world's most valuable book is to go on display for the first time.

The weighty tome contains a serious of illustrations of American birds from the 19th century - some of which are now extinct.

Despite its worth it's been kept in a back room of Birmingham's Central library for decades along with many other rare books.

The world's most valuable book is one of a collection of rare works being moved to Birmingham's new library.

This book is worth more than seven million pounds and contains life size illustrations of more than 400 North American birds.

For decades it's been kept behind closed doors but once at the new library it will be go on public display.
