30 years ago today Aston Villa beat Bayern Munich to win the European Cup.

Just like Chelsea's victory last week, Aston Villa went into the match very much as underdogs.

Despite losing their goalkeeper to injury early after just 9 minutes, they went on to beat the Germans with a single goal scored by Peter Withe.

Many of the players who played in that match have been speaking to Central News about their memories of firstly winning the league title and then the European Cup.
