Shropshire teen lights the Olympic Cauldron
Aiden Reynolds, 18, from Telford in Shropshire, joined six other youth athletes last night, to light the Olympic Cauldron during the Olympic opening ceremony.
The flame, which had travelled over 8,000 miles around the UK, became the focus of the celebration, when multi gold medal winner, Steve Redgrave handed the flame to seven budding athletes.

The mother of a Birmingham boy who raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity before dying of brain cancer, has carried the Olympic torch in his honour.
Georgina Moseley, mother of Harry, ran with the torch past the home of Chelsea Football Club in London on the eve of the games.

Harry Moseley's mother Georgie, who will be carrying the Olympic Torch later today, says it's a bittersweet day for the family.

Supporters of Harry Moseley are making his trademark bracelets on the coach to London.
Harry's father, sister and brother are accompanying his mum Georgie as she prepares to carry the Olympic Torch in Hammersmith and Fulham later this afternoon.
Other family members, friends and trustees of the charity set up in Harry's memory are on board, including former Birmingham City footballer Michael Johnson.
Ben Shepherd will meet the family as the coach arrives in London later this morning.

Harry Moseley's mother Georgie has set off from Birmingham, to carry the Olympic torch in London today.
Harry raised more than five hundred thousand pounds for brain tumour research before he died from a tumour last year.
He was nominated by footballer John Terry to carry the torch, an honour his mother will carry out today.
