Fallen trees left on family's roof for almost two weeks as they fear even more could come down

A mother living in a block of flats in Edgbaston says she fears for her children's lives after two trees fell on the building 12 days ago.
The trees fell during Storm Darragh whilst Naghma Kallydin's daughters, aged four and seven, were eating lunch at the dining room table.
They say they are now incredibly scared.
Naghma said she is also scared of what could happen if the trees fall further, telling ITV News Central that the land has already been uplifted, and she worries that it could fall down on her home at any time.
That's a view shared by Julie Moore, who lives on the bottom floor of the block. She said she hasn't been as impacted as others, but she is worried as the roots are already moving and shifting the trees down, and she fears a tree could go through their window.
The company that manages the building, Principle Estate Management, told ITV News Central today that 'the matter is in hand' whilst Calthorpe Estates, which owns the site, said that a crane would be going tomorrow to move the trees.
They said that their teams had worked 'tirelessly' to remove trees that fell during the storm but that they were 'troublesome' and required machinery which was due yesterday but couldn't come because of the weather.
It's a timescale that residents aren't happy with. Michael Trewartha is Julie's partner and says that management teams have acted 'too slow' and that their situation is a 'huge safety issue.'
They hope weather problems don't stop the trees from being removed tomorrow.
