River Trent left orange and blue after clothing dyes 'accidentally released'

A section of the River Trent in Stoke-on-Trent has been left orange and blue, after clothing dyes were "accidentally released" into the river.

The Environment Agency said today it was aware of the incident.

No fish or wildlife are believed to have been harmed or in distress, however people are being urged to keep themselves and their pets out of the water.
