The Midlands falls silent on Remembrance Sunday
Crowds gathered in cities, towns and villages across the West and East Midlands today to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Thousands turned out for Coventry's annual remembrance parade today - to pay respect to those who've died in conflict.
It was a big change from last year - when commemorations had to be scaled back due to Covid-19 restrictions.
While in the East Midlands, parades, wreath laying and, perhaps most of all, spectators gave the traditional November event it's familiar feel after some very different commemorations last year. Callum Watkinson watched events in Nottingham.
There were similar scenes in the village of Colsterworth in Lincolnshire, as people young and old paid their respects.
In Derby, the city centre was full of people as it fell silent for two minutes earlier today.
In the town of Bedworth in Warwickshire, veterans and service men and women walked through the streets.
