Student, 19, found dead in university accommodation in Coventry
A 19-year-old student has been found dead at a student accommodation address in Coventry.
The teenager was a student at Coventry University and emergency services were called to Trinity View on Thursday October 21, around 9pm.
West Midlands Police have since said the death isn't being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for WMP, said: "A 19-year-old man was discovered dead at an address in Friars Road, Coventry, at around 9pm on Thursday (21 October)."
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and referred to the coroner."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to a residential property on Friars Road, Coventry at 9.07pm on Thursday 21 st October.
"A paramedic officer attended and sadly found one man deceased on scene."
The university and accommodation are now working to support anyone affected and say they are "deeply saddened" by the news.
A Coventry University spokesperson, said: “We are deeply saddened by the death of one of our students in a privately managed student hall of residence."
